After discovering research at the University of Wisconsin–Madison involving electrical stimulation delivered through the tongue, Montel Williams traveled to Wisconsin to participate in the work and explore its potential for neurological rehabilitation.
Jeffrey Sussman accompanied Williams and documented the experience as researchers explored neuroplasticity and new approaches to neurological recovery.
